Field Maintenance Etiquette

On Game Days, we ask for your support to prepare a few items before your games and clean up a few items after your games.  The ALLB Field Maintenance Crew will do their best to keep fields in great shape, but need support from all teams and their personnel to keep it that way.

HOME TEAM is responsible for field prep before games.  This consists of watering (when needed) and dragging the infield dirt, raking around the bases and home plate circle, chalking the foul lines and batters boxes, and ensuring bases are properly secured.

AWAY TEAM is responsible for dragging the infield and raking around bases and home plate circle after the game.

BOTH TEAMS are responsible for cleaning up all trash from the field, dugouts, bleachers, and common areas.
 
We want you to own your field creating the best atmosphere possible for our young athletes to showcase their skills.  Your efforts truly make a difference in the overall game experience! We encourage teamwork both on and off the field, so please don't try to do it by yourself.  Ask for help from all your coaches, team managers, team parents, your players and their parents/family to accomplish the before and after game responsibilities.  By doing so, we not only show respect for the facilities but also teach our young players the importance of taking care of their surroundings.
