Join the Baseball Buddies at AHS
At the beginning of the season, each child is assigned a Baseball Buddy from the Varsity team. The Varsity players call and send post cards to their Buddies and play catch with them after each home game.
Baseball Buddies receive an Alvin High School Baseball Buddy tee-shirt. Wear your shirt to home games, and you get to run the bases after the games, getting high fives from all the players as you round third!
But that’s not all… Enjoy a pizza party with all the players at the end of the year. This is your chance to mingle with future baseball stars. Former Baseball Buddies have fond memories—and post cards—from Nathan Eovaldi and other players who have broken into professional baseball!
Play It Again Program
Alvin Little League will continue our successful "Play It Again" program this year. “Play It Again ” is a program designed to help under privileged families provide the proper playing equipment for their children. We will accept any playing equipment that is still in good condition and able to be used AGAIN.
Want to be an umpire?
ALLB is looking for individuals interested in umpiring. Training will be provided at no cost. Please
and provide your name & telephone number. We will contact you and discuss the details.
Volunteers
Any individual that will interact with ALLB players in an official capacity (League Official, Manager, Coach, Dugout helper, Team Mom, Scorekeeper, Umpire, etc.) must complete and have on file with ALLB each season the volunteer application and a photo copy of official government identification (valid driver's license, passport, etc.). We are required by law to conduct a background check on these individuals each season.
Any individual that wishes to manage or coach a team must also complete a Manager & Coach application in addition to the volunteer application.
